PotatoEurope 2016 is organised by ARVALIS - Crops Institute. 

ARVALIS - Crops institute is an applied research institute for agriculture. Its carries out research on straw cereals, corn, sorghum, potatoes, linen, tobacco and feed.

 

The institute’s missions:

ARVALIS’s mission is to use its expertise to develop production that marries economic competitiveness, market adaptation, and positive contributions to environmental issues all throughout the country

 

Fields of action:

The institute heads studies on agriculture, crop knowledge, biotechnologies, fertilisation and protecting cultivations, precise agriculture, agricultural equipment, harvesting and storage, quality, product use and industry and farm economics. It continually develops ways to share knowledge and spread technical innovation.

About POTATOEUROPE

PotatoEurope is an international event dedicated to potatoes that takes place each year in one of the event’s four partner countries (Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands).

After three years abroad, PotatoEurope comes back to France with the hope of repeating the success of the last time the event was here in 2012.

Over 10,000 visitors, including 3,000 from 50 other countries are expected.
